Shaping the Future of Coaching and Work

Megatrends help us think about possible futures so we can reflect on and take steps to create and influence our best possible future. Unanticipated global events, such as COVID, give us pause, which makes it important to think about where we are heading as society as organizations and as leader and business.

As ICF embarks on its mission to make coaching an integral part of everyday society, will the profession of coaching die out?

We will explore what it means for the future if ICF is successful in making its mission to make coaching an integral part of society a reality.

All this leaves us with questions like:

  • Why is the coaching mindset important to societal well-being?
  • What is businesses role in contributing to the well-being of society?
  • How about promoting the coaching mindset?
  • What role can business play in making that happen?

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the top megatrends affecting the work sphere
  • Learn the many roles coaching can play in the evolution of work
  • Conceive best potential outcomes for the future of coaching and work
